The challenge
Managing chronic conditions like Multiple Sclerosis and Hemophilia requires a product that is clinically reliable, HIPAA-compliant, and simple enough for patients navigating demanding treatment protocols.
Smart Monitor had the vision. They needed a team that could design, build, and ship to US healthcare standards, and integrate without friction into their existing workflow.
Building a clinical-grade platform for chronic-condition management is unforgiving: data integrity, HIPAA-grade security and reliability are non-negotiable, and the roadmap had to move at startup speed while meeting the bar of a partner like CVS Health.

How we worked
Our team embedded directly into Smart Monitor's product cycle. Sprint planning, daily standups, product reviews: we operated as part of their core team, not on a ticket queue. Communication ran through Zoom, Skype, Slack, and Jira, with weekly alignment meetings across the full delivery chain.
Every professional was interviewed and approved by Smart Monitor's leadership before being embedded. No one joined until they said yes.
We applied Design Thinking methodology from day one, involving professionals from multiple disciplines to understand clinical needs, patient behavior, and provider workflows before writing a single line of code.
Collaborating with this team was a seamless experience. Their team's dedication and expertise were crucial in developing a platform that not only met but exceeded our expectations.
